Aerosmith’s rise and fall and amazing resurrection is well-documented, even without a slew of autobiographies. Drummer Joey Kramer weighed in first with his memoir in 2009; Steven Tyler followed suit in 2011, and now it’s Joe Perry’s turn.

The guitarist, who co-wrote his “Rocks: My Life in and Out of Aerosmith” (paperback) with David Ritz, documents his version of events. It leads the pack of new music book releases this week.
