Shoulda-Been-a-Hit: Grace Jones’ ‘Slave to the Rhythm’

“Slave to the Rhythm,” Grace Jones (1985) … Top 15 in the U.K., did not chart in the U.S.

It was the first single and title track from her Trevor Horn-produced album. Reportedly, the song was intended for Frankie Goes to Hollywood.

I prefer this 8-minute remix version. Incredible.
