Prince dominates Amazon’s CD sales
Prince’s stunning death Thursday (April 21) sent grieving fans online to buy his albums that the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend had blocked from streaming services.
The pop icon has 19 of the Top 20 best-selling CDs on Amazon this morning, led by “The Very Best of Prince” and “Purple Rain.” The only non-Prince album in the Top 20 is the original Broadway cast recording of “Hamilton.”
