This is a momentous occasion: a new Stone Roses song … “All For One” is their first single in 21 years. They’re back, and that’s exciting (at least to me).

The song is catchy, the lyrics are simple and guitarist John Squire is superb as usual. If the rest of their long-awaited album sounds like this, their legacy will be in fine shape.

It leads this week’s compilation of New Songs. Happy #NewMusicFriday, indeed.
