New Songs: Beck, Shawn Mendes, Maxwell, etc.

Roger Daltrey told Rolling Stone magazine recently that he doesn’t see another Who album in the future.

“There’s no royalties so I can’t see that ever happening. There’s no record business. How do you get the money to make the records? I don’t know. I’m certainly not going to pay money to give my music away free. I can’t afford to do that. I’ve got other things I could waste the money on.”

Who’s gonna argue with a rock ‘n’ roll legend? Not me. But the record industry still exists (believe it or not). Nobody’s giving away any of this week’s new songs listed here. Yes, you can stream them, but let’s pay the artists for their blood, sweat and tears.
