[su_quote]It’s been a massive journey to get this first album released, and an album that should have been released a long time ago, and for reasons that I won’t particularly go into now it was not, but let’s just say that there are some people in this industry who are so tone-deaf they wouldn’t know a great song if it jumped up and bit them on the arse,” Keith Leahy tells P&P. “The album is a good cross mixture of The Petal Falls music with songs about Love, Life and disaster sprinkled throughout it. The title track ‘Workin’ All Night, Workin’ All Day,’ for instance, is a song I wrote about inequality and how we all strive to make better lives for ourselves no matter who we are and what our circumstances are. ‘Rain’ is about surviving a river breaking its banks and ‘Mariah’ is about clinging to a difficult relationship with all the insecurity it breeds. So a pretty wide spread of subjects, but I hope with enough variety to interest people in the music overall.[/su_quote]
