PAUSE & PLAY: What was your goal for this album?

WALSH: "To pour my colorful personality into the music and make 'Lost in the Lights' a record people will love always."

P&P: What song best represents you?

WALSH: "There are many aspects of my personality throughout my record ... which means it's difficult to say one song is 'me' more than another. The title 'Lost in the Lights' is what overall sums me up ... lost in the wonder of life at all times."

P&P: How can you avoid the downfalls some other celebrities (i.e. Britney, Lindsay) have gone through?

WALSH: "I am my own person, and that's all that matters. What keeps any of us, famous or not from falling? It's keeping your priorities straight and working to let light and good into your life."

P&P: What's your favorite Joe Walsh song?

WALSH: "My favorite song of my dad's is 'I Like Big Tits' or 'ILBTs.' He's a very funny guy and I think it's hilarious he would write a song on the topic of breasts!"

P&P: What's the best advice you've gotten from your father?

WALSH: "Don't ever fall in love with a musician ..."

P&P: What goals do you have beyond music?

WALSH: "... oh where do I start!?! Clothing line in the works, film and theater acting, writing books, writing music for other artists, have my own cooking show, tons of charity work, finish college, move to Wyoming and become a dentist ... I have new ideas every day!"

P&P: What was the first record you ever bought?

WALSH: "The first CD I ever bought was 'Dookie' by Green Day. I had my friends older sister buy it because it had the 'parental advisory' and I was only 12. I then had to sneak it into the house and listen to it only on my Walkman so my parents couldn't hear the bad words! It's an awesome record."

P&P: What was the first concert you ever went to?

WALSH: "The first concert I ever went to was Chicago. It was seventh grade, and a boy in my class named Dave asked me along in a limo as his date. We had a great time, and the next day he brought me a teddy bear and a 'Chicago Greatest Hits' CD. We are now labelmates on Island Def Jam, he plays bass in the band Under the Influence of Giants."

P&P: What's the worst job you've ever had?

WALSH: "I've always liked my jobs ... although I worked at a day spa, and quit in an odd fashion ... it was lunchtime, and my manager asked if I could bring him back a soda. During that lunch, I decided I wanted to quit, and being an inconsiderate teenager, I just walked out and never returned! A co-worker months later told me the manager said he's still waiting on his soda!"
