PAUSE & PLAY: Much obliged, Larry.
'BENEFITS OF BEING A P&P FAN'
"As a faithful viewer of Pause & Play, I'm constantly alerted to releases that I would not know of for a long time, if ever. A few weeks ago, I saw your listing of Robbie Fulk's '50 Vc. Doberman,' a 50-song download new album. After learning about it on P&P, I clicked on the link and bought it. I'm really loving that collection. Of course, that's just the latest example of the benefits from being a P&P fan.
"You were also very kind to list and interview me for my release of The Kunks (the Rutles' version of The Kinks). I received great notice and feedback from that. Now that leads to my question. I hooked up with the fine folks at NoiseTrade.com to release my newest work. It's a concept album of sorts (song cycle? - which ever term is less off-putting) about failed musicians called 'Life's Great Listeners.' NoiseTrade is a pay-what-you-want, if anything, service. Kind of like what Radiohead did with their last release.
"Seeing that you've listed digital only releases on the site and how you've been very supportive before, I was wondering if this would qualify for a posting on Pause & Play.
"Hoping so,
John Dunbar"
PAUSE & PLAY: Yes, indeed, John. Please pass along your information. The easiest way to do it is via our submission page. It's all explained there. And thank you for the very kind words. They go a LONG way.
