BTW: For "Don't You Fake It," guitarist Elias Reidy tells P&P, the main objective "was to deliver very straightforward songs that will speak to virtually anyone. We wrote songs that people can relate to and understand. There's no hidden meaning behind the music; we want the listeners to get it and own it."

Many, in fact, will relate to "Face Down," the first single, which addresses domestic violence. Reidy says the song comes from personal experience. "Ronnie (Winter), our singer, and I were raised in homes where domestic violence occurred," Reidy says. "For the most part, everyone we know has either experienced domestic violence first-hand, or have a friend or know a family that has. Ronnie knew that the topic needed to be addressed and what better way than to write a song about it?"
