BTW: "The biggest focus for FACT is the melody," drummer Eiji tells P&P. "We definitely put in a lot of effort to get the best melody line in (each) song. From that melody line, we change the speed, or use different medium, or loop it, etc., to make it sound even more interesting. I think that's our best attribute as a band."
Guitarist Takahiro says they don't want to be lumped into any one category.
"The album jumps from one genre to another," he says, "and we love that eclectic sound. You can't jump into it thinking you are gonna hear one thing. I guess you can expect it to be unexpected."
Who are their musical heroes? Takahiro cites Incubus.
"Every album sounds like it's constantly evolving and shows that they have had a long challenging journey as a band," he says. "I think they are awesome."
