Jason Antone "Start to Move [MP3 Download]" (producer: Willie Lewis; Hear here) (Chickie, June 9, 2009)

BTW: For "Start to Move," Antone wanted to write songs from the current place in his life. "I've had triumphs and tragedies like everyone else," the Chicago native tells P&P. "The only constant in life is movement and change. Embrace that and it gets a lot more tolerable. Fun, dare I say. A lot of times, the pain comes from being stuck instead of life itself. Only now that I look back at the body of work can I see that."

Antone says producer Willie Lewis brought a lot to the table for his dance/pop-oriented album.

"Ultimately, the producer is responsible for the sound and vibe," he says. "I can bring the same melody and lyrics to someone else and it could've sounded totally different. I like riding the bus Willie is driving. The route is scenic and he makes all the right stops."
