Of all the tracks, he's most proud of "Death of Me." "There's a simplicity to it that I've tried to instill in my work for some time now and everything from the structure of the song to the arrangement and production approach all really embrace the song's simplicity and yet somehow help make it the most memorable."

BTW: Moshav Band vocalist-percussionist Yehuda Solomon tells P&P that "Misplaced" helps accomplish a "longtime dream of connecting and finding our own unique and original sound or voice in the music we make, a sound that sings all of our elements, our roots and heritage. ... And then sharing it with the world, which we can't wait to do."

The Israeli-born trio, now based in Los Angeles, tries to stay focused, despite the turbulence in the Middle East. "I was in the States when the whole thing started, but now I'm writing from Israel," Solomon writes via e-mail. "When I'm here, I feel safer then anywhere else. It's hard to explain, you just feel at home. It's heavy times right now. The time we're in right now is called 'the 3 weeks' in the Hebrew calendar, a time of tragedy and destruction for the Jewish people throughout the years. What I learned here in Israel is that prayer is such a powerful tool. May we all stand together and pray for peace and witness God's great miracles."
